The news I have been waiting to share for some time is that COBIT 5 will be released mid-April and ISACA members can now pre-order their copy! COBIT 5 is a significant evolution of the globally recognized COBIT guidance, incorporating up-to-date thinking in enterprise governance and management techniques. COBIT 5 framework builds on COBIT 4.1 by connecting with other major frameworks, standards and resources, including ITIL, ISO, ISF, OECD, AICPA and NIST, and integrating other ISACA guidance – including Val IT, Risk IT, the IT Assurance Framework and the Business Model for Information Security (BMIS) – into one comprehensive picture.
The COBIT 5 framework will provide the basis for governing and managing enterprise IT. It will include a number of products including:
- COBIT 5 (the framework),
- COBIT 5: Enabling Processes, and
- COBIT 5: Implementation
ISACA members can visit the ISACA member pre-order link and will be notified as soon as their personalized copy is available!
I have requested my copy, have you?
More on COBIT 5 in the next week.
